What Must I Do to Be Saved?:

If you were to die today,

would you spend eternity in

Heaven or Hell?

1. Understand and admit to yourself and to God that you are a sinner.

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; (Romans 3:23)

2. Realize that God punishes sinners.

For the wages of sin is death…. (Romans 6:23a)

Hebrews 9:27 “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.”

3. Humbly admit to yourself and to God that His punishment for your sin is just and that you, as a sinner, deserve it.

And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. (Luke 18:13)

4. Understand that God’s punishment for sin, is eternal death and separation from God in a place called Hell.

For the wages of sin is death... (Romans 6:23a)

And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of

fire. (Revelation 20:14 & 15)

5. Humbly Repent - which is to turn from yourself, your sin, anyone and everyone else, and anything and everything you have depended upon for salvation and turn to Christ alone.

I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. (Luke 13:3)

6. Request by sincere prayer the salvation provided by God in Christ.

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

(Romans 10:13)

7. Receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior.

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: (John 1:12) Ephesians 2:8-9

Forsaking All I Trust Him

Now, simply bow your head and pray to the Lord. Admit to him that you are a sinner and deserve his punishment. Then by FAITH ask him right now to forgive you of your sin, come into your heart and be your Saviour. Tell him that right now, you are trusting him to give you eternal life and take you to His Heaven when you die. 1.) Get a KJV Bible, and start reading it

(This is how God talks to you through His Word!)

2.) Come to church (God wants you there!)

3.) Pray to Him! (Just like any relationship, it is a two way communication. God wants to hear from you!)
