CARMIT GERSHON KLAPARDA WAS BORN ON THE LONGEST DAY OF THE YEAR OF 1972 IN ISRAEL.

MOTHER OF ROY (6) AND TOMER (3).

SINCE CHILDHOOD, CARMIT HAS BEEN DRAWN TO THE MAGICAL WAYS AND SECRETS OF THE SPICES IN HER NANA’S HOUSE AND HAS BECOME A PART OF THE ENCHANTED WORLD OF COOKING.

AFTER DEVELOPING A LOVE FOR READING COOK BOOKS, AT THE AGE OF 20, IN THE SPUR OF THE MOMENT SHE DECIDED TO TRAVEL ACROSS THE U.S. BY VISITING A GREAT VARIETY OF RESTAURANTS, , TASTING AND EXPANDING HER CULINARY KNOWLEDGE BY VISITING A GREAT VARIETY OF RESTAURANTS.

WHEN SHE WAS 22 SHE OPENED A SMALL RESTAURANT WITH A HOMEMADE ATMOSPHERE. AFTER 3 YEARS SHE DECIDED IT WASN’T ENOUGH AND JOINED ONE OF THE MOST PRESTIGIOUS ISRAELI CHEFS, GOURMET CATERER DORON BAR-ON. FOR 7 YEARS SHE SPECIALIZED IN USING ALL OF MOTHER NATURE’S BEST.

TODAY CARMIT SPECIALIZES IN GOURMET FOOD DRAWN FROM THE EARTH AND HER MEDITERRANEAN ROOTS, REVEALING AND REVELING IN THE SECRET OF SIMPLICITY.
